Now, during any conversation on any channel (WhatsApp, email, Telegram, Instagram, webchat, and more), you can send messages that only your colleagues will see — the contact doesn’t receive or see them.
Private messages appear in dark blue, different from the light blue of normal messages sent to the customer.
Use the control at the top right of the message typing bar, next to the attachments button, to choose between normal or private messages. Your choice stays saved while you stay in the same conversation.
In internal conversations between Volt users, the private message option is disabled since those chats are already private.
This feature helps your team share info and coordinate without the customer seeing, making the service more organized.
We are excited to announce that version 0.9.5 will ship with a new way to power your webchat: integrated authentication with your website. A function will be available to set the contact's information so the Identification Form does not need to be shown. Authentication will be made with the supplied information automatically!
